Vintage toys-- you know, the classics. Things you and I (well if you are between the ages of 25& 45) played with when we are younger. The good stuff-- toys that brought HOURS and HOURS of countless entertainment to us while we used our, GASP!, imaginations...... ahhhh..... the good 'ol days. I am going to tell you how these nostalgic toys can earn you top dollar here on eBay. A way that some people not realize is the way to bring in some big bucks with minimal effort.

Just before Christmas I was racking my brain trying to find some toys that would be suitable for my toddler son. After many hours of looking around in the stores and online for toys that were "unique" or "different" I began to get somewhat frustrated at what types of toys are on the market these days. I would say at least 90% of them are electronic, and offer MAYBE 10 hours tops of entertainment value.

*sigh*

So, I went home felling defeated. The holidays were approaching fast and I had no clue what I would get my son. I wanted to spend money on things that he would actually play with, enjoy, and be able to use his imagination with. Stuff like the toys I played with when I grew up.
Then it hit me! I wondered if eBay had any of those OH SO GLORIOUS toys that I could bid on for my son. I began to feel perky and cheerful as I rushed home so I could get on the computer and find out. On my ride home, I began to picture the toys from my past.... toys like the Fisher Price Little People Airplane, or The Fisher Price Car Garage..... or what about the awesome Ewoks Play Hut that was so popular back in the day????
Then I fondly remembered the toy record player.... you know, the one where you had those cute little plastic records with bumps all on the ridges. You put in under the fake needle, wound it up, and it played nursery rhymes. I loved that thing!

So, I get home and pop myself in front of the computer. Within seconds I am logged on to eBay where I begin to search for these precious toys.
It did not take long at all to find what I was seeking......... a veritable treasure trove of vintage (Vintage... already? Am I really that old????) toys in which I began to reminice about my childhood. Toys that I even had forgotten about but after seeing them I desperately wondered what became of my old toys. Like those old Mother Goose Jack-in-the-Boxes--- remember those??? They were GREAT!

Well, I actually felt my mouth water as I began to bid, bid, bid on these "BLAST FROM MY PAST" toys..... and could eagerly anticipate haivng my son play with the same toys that his father and I grew up playing with. I think I went a little over board because the prices I ended up paying out of sheer desperation to own them were pretty high. Then upon thinking more on it, I was not the only person on eBay willing to pay top dollar for these vintage toys.......

So what I am getting at is this: Perhpas you have these same toys lying around, collecting dust. They have no one to play with them and you just don't want to throw them out. Maybe their from your kids, or grandkids, and no one really feels all that nostalgic about them like I do.

Or, perhaps you don't have them. Do you go to yard sales, or second hand stores? Because you can typically find these items much cheaper at those places.

I am letting you know that because of my desperation to own these vintage toys, and because of the same desperation that others out there like me have, YOU CAN MAKE GOOD MONEY FROM SELLING YOUR VINTAGE TOYS ON eBAY!!!! GOOD MONEY!

Let me give you some cold hard facts and tell you what I personally paid for the following items:

Fisher Price Castle/ Asking Price on eBay was $84.99. I offered $50.00 for it plus shipping and the offer was accepted. $50.00 for a toy castle that even had some wear and tear on it!!!! And that is the going price for it even now!


Fisher Price Play Cottage/ I paid $15.50 plus shipping for this one.


Kenner Tree House w/ Accessories.... I paid a whopping $82.99 plus shipping for this one!!!! I JUST searched eBay on this one to see what they are averaging, and I kid you not, I found one going for $163.00 with 27 bids and 2 hours left for bidding!!!!!


Here's that record player I mentioned before. I paid $22.00 plus shipping.

So there is quite the demand for these nostalgic toys. You can see how crazy I am to pay what I did just for the few of many I actually purchased. I ended up spending around $560.00 buying all these toys that I played with as a kid. They were all Christmas presents for my son, but the truth of the matter is I think I honestly got them for me because when they came in the mail, I tore open the boxes and reminiced for hours about playing with those toys. I thought back to my childhood and remembered all kinds of times that I played with them..... floods and floods of nothing but GREAT memories.

If you are still reading this, then you know what you need to do! Got vintage toys? Sell 'em on eBay cause you can turn them into COLD HARD CASH! Find them at a garage sale? Buy it cheap, then list it on eBay for COLD HARD CASH PROFIT. I am telling you... it's a great way to make money if you have them. The better the condition they are in, the more they are worth. Trust me, and if you don't, then look under Vintage Toys on eBay and see for yourself. There's money to be made with these priceless toys, and you have the power to make that money!
