They make products including luggage, business cases, handbags and wallets, writing instruments and watches.  Tumi gained fame in the 1980’s when it introduction of soft-sided ballistic nylon travel bags that could stand up to the demands of serious road warriors.
In the 1990's, sales exploded as Tumi gained over 25 patents for its design and engineering innovations.
One of the features that Tumi owners most enjoy is the way the bags are organized.  Their elegantly designed bags feature adjustable straps, custom padding for laptops, and other custom designed features.  The T3 Collection and Generation 4 luggage series took Tumi into the 21st century as the leader in luggage for travel connoisseurs.
