The Sellers on ebay who are GENERATING their INCOME on eBay find it necessary to charge more than the actual price of  shipping! If a Seller is not charging a handling fee, they are not making any money on their sales and they are just doing it as a HOBBY.

First, I must say We are running a legitamate business and there is a lot of overhead for ALL SELLERS whether the item is purchased or not.

Every Sellers must go out seeking their merchandise to sell and this cost money.  Let me tell you what is all involved prior to listing merchandise on ebay.

I am listing these items in the order of use in selling on ebay.

(1).  The majority of US have car notes, these payments must be consider in shipping and handling pricing.  Car notes must be paid to go looking for the merchandise and to take packages to the Postal Service for mailing.

(2).  Insurance is mandatory and this has to be added to the price of shipping and handling fees. Not the whole payment!

(3).  Let us not forget about GASOLINE!  The price of gasoline per gallon is ridiculous in some cities.

(4).  LISTING FEE:  Using eBay's forum requires all Sellers to pay a listing fee to promote their items we have found at bargain low prices for you.  The price of listing fees is based on the price of the item selling.

(5).  SUPPLIES!  We use tissue paper, tape, special boxes, bubble wrap and other fillers.

(6). ISP:  INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER is mandatory or we have no forum to sell the items without this service.

(7). PAYPAL Printing:  Those of US who use PAYPAL to print our lable must purchase ink for the printer, paper for the printer, glue or tape to apply to the outgoing packages.

 The next time you want to complaint regarding the Shipping and Handling Fees, just think if You were in the Sellers position, would you pass it on as they do in ALL BUSINESS or do you take a loss and think you are making money to humor someone who doesn't understand BUSINESS!
