Units of Weights and Measurements for Troy Units.
This is for those who find themselves wondering how much metal is in the coin or coins they are looking at. Instead of guessing what they are bidding on, they can use this chart to get a better idea of the size of the coin(s). I myself have found this helpful when purchasing older type coins and even small amounts of Gold.
1. Troy Pound (0.37kg):
A mass unit is used to measure precious metals. There are 12 troy ounces in every troy pound. One troy pound is equal to 373 grams.
