Let me first state that it is hard for me to even type this review. That is because I tore my shoulder while pulling on my Troy Built Model TB70SS gas trimmer. Spring Assist my butt, this thing sucks big time. I bought this piece of crap at Lowes about 2 years ago exactly. It worked ok for a short while, but it vibrates like a jackhammer. Then suddenly the pull cord came loose and wouldn't wind back in. I took it to an authorized Troy Built repair shop. I was told that Troy Built didn't cover that in the 2 year limited warranty. The repairman told me that Troy Built had one of the worst warranties in the Industry. So I had to pay nearly $50 to get it fixed. I brought it home and it wouldn't start. Back to the repairman. I got it back and it ran for a day or two and then it shut off. Well I pulled on this dumb thing until my shoulder is about to fall off. I guess these things are built to last for a couple of years until the warranty that doesn't cover hardly anything that might actually go wrong with it is over and then falls apart.
And good luck trying to get an answer from any of Troy Built's customer Service people. All I could get was stupid form letters telling me where to find a repairman.
