Air travel can be difficult, but it doesn’t have to be. In this guide, I offer some well honed tips to make your travel easier. My background is a frequent flyer with over 1.6 million air miles.
Read on to learn more..

If you have traveled by air at all you have of course heard, arrive two hours early to the flight, etc. That being said, there is so much more to planning for a good trip.

Let’s start with arriving getting through the ticket counter and onto the airplane:

1) Skycap - What a wonderful service. If you haven’t taken advantage of this please do. They handle your baggage for you, ensure it gets tagged correctly and on to the plane. Secret to success: Provide your ID and your destination for all who are traveling. Be sure and TIP your Skycap. They are responsible for your bags, its worth a few bucks.

2) When you arrive, its assured to be a long line. As such people get cranky, upset and take it out on the ladies and gentlemen behind the counter. If you happen to need anything special done, say an upgrade or a seat change, they have the power to make it happen. When you arrive, BE prepared to show your ID BEFORE they ask. If you have a frequent flyer card, have that ready as well. This simply makes their job easier and they will love you for it. Know what you want to accomplish specifically. Want an upgrade? ASK! If they say we don’t have any for upgrade, offer to ‘pay the difference’ (caution: It can be expensive). Many times you can buy up to first.

Another tip at the counter is if your schedule permits, ask if you can UPGRADE on the NEXT flight out. Lastly, if you are in coach, ASK for exit row seating. It many times can be obtained and is a much more comfy seat.

3) Security: The hardest part of the trip. Due to security concerns there are a few things you can do to speed up the line and help your self.
•    Have your ID and Ticket ready for the Security personnel
•    Remove your shoes just before you get to the gate
•    Remove any metal from pockets, or clothes such as belts, change, pens, etc.
•    Carrying a computer? Remove it and place it in a separate container.
•    Subject to search? Relax..It’s a pain, but it is for your safety.

4) In the terminal. Are you a member of one of the Frequent flyer clubs? Great! You know what to do. If not, if you are traveling internationally, many of the clubs will offer you a free pass. Are you a member of the Military? First, Thank you! Second many of the clubs will allow you in with your Military ID.

Not a member or going to be one? Find a comfy place, get a coffee or some food. Chances are good you won’t be fed on the plane. A long flight with kids and no food can be uncomfortable for everyone.

Once you enter the terminal, PROCEED to the gate first and verify your flight has not moved to another gate. You will need show your ID here for check in. You will most likely be asked to show your ID at the entrance of the airplane as well. Please have your TICKET and ID ready at the door.

Remember to dress in comfy clothes and shoes. Pack any medicines you need in your carry on.

What is AccessWallet™?
AccessWallet  is the only boarding pass wallet (AKA as a travel wallet) designed specifically for how the air traveler moves through the check in at the gate through boarding the air craft. Unlike our competitors,  is designed to work with security procedures  in place at our airports today.

If you think about how we travel today, we are required to show our PHOTO ID and boarding pass to security and gate personnel up to five times per segment. Each airport may vary in the amount of times  you show boarding pass and ID as well as when. Depending on the current Homeland security threat rating, you may be required to show it even more. With reports of lost ID's and line's being delayed simply due to NOT having your ID and boarding pass ready, AccessWallet™ is the right choice for travelers.
Be ready.
With AccessWallet™ you will be ready for each checkpoint. With the ease of holding, displaying and opening it with one hand you will be ready. You will be surprised on how quick you proceed through security. Imagine going through the process faster, reaching the gate sooner and boarding, thus getting the precious overhead storage. AccessWallet™ keeps all your travel documents and identification in one place allowing you to focus on getting to your flight.  Relieving you of the burden of "remembering" where you put your ID.

How do we accomplish this?

AccessWallet™ has been optimized  and designed to work with airport security processes. The result? Your time is streamlined through checkpoints, by having everything ready to go. AccessWallet™ is designed for industry standard boarding pass tickets from counter, self-serve kiosk or self-printed ticket.
