How many men and women in the eBay market place have wondered what to do with your expensive designer items that no longer fit or you just don't wear?  I'm sure a good percentage of you have even taken your designer items to local consignment stores for resale or donated them because you don't have a good consignment store in your area.

Your local consignment stores are good, but here is the dilemma. How many people are going to walk into a consignment store looking for a particular color, style and size that matches your designer item? Maybe 1-3 per month...maybe!  Now here is an amazing statistic about eBay. eBay has over 200 million registered users. Imagine at any given time there are millions of eBayers on line looking for their favorite clothes, shoes and more. Buyers can search on eBay as opposed to walking in to a shop and hoping to find the item they are looking for.  They also can shop whenever they want to and are not restricted to retail hours and days that the shop is closed.  Your designer items can be targeted and you have a worldwide marketplace to display your items.

The consignment stores in our area take a higher percentage when that item sells than they give to the owner of that item.  They do that because they have high overhead that you end up helping them pay for.

Have you thought about contacting a Trading Assistant* and having a them sell your designer clothes, shoes, handbags and accessories for you?  Take advantage of this wonderful program that eBay has made available to you. We have had men and women across the country send us their items because of our success rate with St John Knits, Chanel, Manolo Blahnik and more. We have received thousands of items and have a 98% success rate selling for them.

Our consignors received a much higher percentage of their sold items than they received at "traditional" consignment stores.  Because of this higher percentage and our success rate our consignors have continually sent us additional items to sell and have referred their friends and family to us.

When selecting a Trading Assistant*, be sure to select one that has a very successful track record selling designer items and be sure to select one that has a very high feedback score. It is also good to work with a seller that is a PowerSeller* as they usually have repeat customers and higher traffic to their listings.

*Trading Assistants and PowerSellers are neither employees of nor independent contractors of eBay
