I like to know when someone bids on one of my auctions. I found myself checking my account several times a day to see who has bid, how many bids do I have, how much is the bid amount.
I hated checking and finding there was no change. It was like I wasted my time. Days might go by and no changes, disappointment after disappointment. I thought there had to be a better way to monitor my auctions and what do you know...there was.
There is a free auction monitoring tool called the Tadpole Auction Watcher which will monitor your auctions, or any auctions you want to watch and it will alert you when a bid is placed.
Now I just drag my auctions in the Tadpole Auction Watcher window and when someone bids I hear the ribbit-ribbit sound and I know someone just bid on an auction. It even tells me which auction received the bid and how much it was for.
You can also monitor your favorite groups, favorite sellers, and watch for keywords using this program. It will show you a list of newly listed items so you dont have to keep checking your favorite group to see what was listed. The eBay Favorites email only comes once per day. By the time it is sent, many buy it now auctions have been posted and closed without you knowing it. This software will alert you within seconds of a new auction being posted so you never miss any item you are interested in because someone beat you to a buy it now price.
That is my tip for the day. If you are a buyer or seller, try out this free program, Tadpole Auction Watcher and it will help you monitor auctions and new listings.
You can find a link to it on my About Me page here
