The market for these items is alive in the Far East and the people dealing in these items have little regards to the survival of the Hawksbill Turtle or for the Elephants.

By buying these items, all you do is create a market for them.

It's sad to say that even in Japan you find these endangered species for sale on the streets (aimed at tourists), forget about China, Thailand, or HK, they'll mass produce them for you

We need to shut down all trade of endangered species, we don’t need the money nor to own these items since as long as people purchase, so will the illegal trade continue.
