Stay up to date!
Let's face it - not many of us girls want to go without showers, indoor plumbing and her shoe collection - so the least we can do is plan a shopping trip to ease the pain. A fashionista is, if nothing else, recourceful and stylish for every occasion. Camping is an event that we take part in every summer, almost like a ritual. Be sure you look cute and comfy this summer when you're out in the wilderness with this top 5 things to wear when you're camping. Don't forget the SPF and bug spray!
1. Comfortable Shorts - Shorts are a must for camping, especially if you're camping in the south. It gets hot, humid and you want to keep as cool as possible. I've chosen utility shorts specifically because having those extra pockets can prove to be really handy while you're hiking around the campsite.
2. Cargo Pants - Another must (and a comfy must at that!) is cargo pants. If you're camping in a cooler climate, they'll keep you warm, and if you're hiking around in an area with a lot of bushes, shrubs and plants with thorns, they can really save your legs from being scratched up. They've saved me many times!
3. Camping Backpack - There's no reason why you can't have a stylish bag while you're camping, I always say. (But maybe that's because I have an unhealthy obsession with bags - haha!) I found these really cute bags that are made especially for picnics - with comparments for food, drink and even extra pockets for your cell and other essentials. Great colors, too.
4. Track Jacket of Hoodie - If you've ever been camping, you know the weather can turn quickly - you sweat like crazy during the day, but by the time the sun does down, you're just about frozen! Hoodies and jackets keep you really warm and layer really easily. Not to mention, they usually have an outdoorsy feel.
5. Fitted Tees - Fitted tees are really important when you're camping - wearing anything too bulky and flowy can lead to disaster - when you wear loose fitting clothes, you run the risk of them being caught on a branch or some plant while you're hiking. In my clothing lots, several of the tees are beyond comfortable, layer really well and are dirt cheap.
If you decide that camping is not for you... You can always put on a pair of Authentic Christian Dior Sunglasses... Grab your Gucci tote... and hit the beach!
