1. If you have any douts, don't bid. you are possibly outbidding someone who is a 100% sure and would have no complaint's what so ever.
2. Consider before Conplaining - price? Is it enough to cost you and seller a lot of time and worry? - won bid? you out bid another buyer costing seller a worry free transaction.
3. Would you Return to a yardsale and ask for a refund? If you answered no to this question, then why would you ask a seller to refund money on yardsale items? Because you can't be seen. If it doesn't feel right and you do it, then you know, and you have to live with yourself. and think about it...
4. Be A Serious Bidder. Seller has invested footwork, money and time locating and purchasing item and then taking pictures, writing descriptions and listing item along with job, family, bills and other obligations.
5. Time. Time is the most valuable asset on the planet and you as a buyer hold a large portion of sellers time in your hand when deciding to complain or not to complain, try to look at positives as well as negatives. consider your time you will be investing.
6. Relist the item yourself, possibly making a profit and saving shipping costs.
7. Insurance. Insurance claims can only be made by buyer. seller cannot make insurance claims on behalf of buyer.
8. Pictures tell the story. Look at pictures closely. not sure, ask for more pictures. ask for details that were not listed but you know item and know that it should be there.
9. Feedback. Consider all details of sale, Compare item to sellers description. How quickly you received item?
10. Courteous. How would you want to be treated if roles were reversed. Please consider everything before complaining and never report a seller without talking to them first, this is life and things happen in life that are out of Everyones control, computer's crash. love ones die. children get sick. relatives get hospialized.
