I like Snap-on tools, there are others out there that are comparable. like Matco I bought a sweet 1/2 inch impact Nitrocat 1000 foot pounds of torque don't let the tomcat name fool you. every guy in the shop has borrowed it. I like the fact that I have not came across a bolt or nut i have'nt been able to take off with it, paid 90.00 on ebay for it like new cond. In my tool experience snap on is the best overall but Ive also broke more snap-on sockets then any other I choose snap-on matco and mac I also like the super long sk ratcheting box set they are a must have real knuckle savers I highly reccomend them. I prefer the matco hand ratchets over snap on because of there degree of turning is less.but on the other hand the soft grip ratchets by snap-on are better because they dont slip as easily so different tool makers tools are better in certain areas for different jobs its just another way for them to keep you buying another new tool.you pretty much have to buy new tools every year, since new cars require new tools. With that said, you can save some money on Ebay as oppose to the Tool truck.
