Tony Curtis has an autograph that is collected by movie lovers around the world.  But if you're a Magician, like me, you appreciate Tony Curtis for his role as Harry Houdini in the movie "Houdini".  I've been studying his magic autograph for years, and here's what I've learned.

I know first-hand that Tony Curtis is a gracious autograph signer.  I wrote him an autograph request in the early 1990s, and he was nice enough to send me his art brochure, signed on the front.  The signature below is one he signed for my wife's Mom Jackie around 1995.

The photo below is signed by Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh.  This 8" x 10" black and white photo sold in auction on September 6, 2005, for $68.99 plus $5.00 shipping from eBay seller pieces_of_time; there were two bids.  I consider it the "Holy Grail" for the Tony Curtis Houdini autograph collector.

The item below is a 3" x 5" white index card, matted with a photo montage from the movie "Houdini"; the overall size is 8" x 10".  I purchased this Oct. 13, 2006, for $10.50 plus $5.00 shipping from eBay seller campuscollectibles.

The next item below is an 8" x 10" black and white photo pose of him with the rising card trick,boldly signed in black felt pen.  I purchased this item March 27, 2006, for $19.00 plus $5.00 shipping from ebay seller campuscollectibles.

On June 15, 2006, I purchased in auction a signed 8" x 10" black and white photo of Curtis in a straight jacket.  The price was $5.00 plus $5.00 shipping from eBay seller campus collectibles.
