Did you know To Kill a Mockingbird was Harper Lee's one and only book. She was only a teenager when she wrote and the fame was overwhelming. You may note that her photo was on the first edition of this book and on a few of the first book club editions. She had this removed as she did not like attention. She then went into seclusion and now lives in California, but makes some public appearances.
