Tips on becoming a Power Seller~
When I first began on E-bay, I made the mistake of trying to sell less for more. I did a research paper for college and it happened to be on Walmart sales and I began to follow the theory that they have in place that works for them; Sell more for less. My profits on each piece is much less now, but I sell three times as much as before and the total net has increased trifolds.
Unlike Walmart, it is very important to sell quality merchandise. Since my business began, it has tripled in size. I now have weekly customers who visit my store and auctions because they know the merchandise is quailty and well known namebrands.
Find honest wholesalers and other vendors where you are able to purchase merchandise at a reasonable price, while still being able to allow for a markup for your profit. The best tips I can give on finding merchandise is getting out there in every avenue and find your own local area stores, outlets, and online markets that offer sales, and also have reward programs.
Another key to my selling now is purchasing everything with credit cards that offer rewards. If you shop at Gap, get a gap card that will offer you rewards back for free merchandise and also gives you discounts. Like wise for many local stores, and the market is full of reward cards that allows your money to work for you. Plus, it gives you 30 days to pay and earns you money while you are selling.
Best of luck on your selling ~
