Tips for buying MMA Event Tickets

MMA is continually growing and with Pride, UFC, EliteXC, IFL, and all the other promotions MMA tickets have been selling like hotcakes.  Below is a list of tips to help you stay safe and get the best deals when buying MMA event tickets.

1. Always read through the entire listing:  Read the listing twice and make sure it is for the proper event, at the proper venue, for the proper date.  If there is a mistake in the listing it’s usually a sign of fraud.

2. Don’t Rush to Bid:  Do some research before placing a bid. 

3. Check the seller’s feedback and previously sold items:  If the seller has little to no feedback or is a new member it’s better to ask some questions before placing a bid.  Also check what other items the seller sells, if the seller has never sold MMA event tickets (or any event tickets before) and primarily deals in Rare Coins you might have a hijacked account on you hands.

4. Contact Seller:  Use the contact seller button to ask questions.  If the listing says to send questions to an email and to not use the contact seller button you have a scam on your hands.

5. Ask Questions:  Ask the seller specific questions about the event.  The more they know the more likely the tickets are legit.

6. Always pay with Paypal:  Paying with Paypal protects you if you happen to be taken by a scammer.
