We would like to offer some Tricks and Tips for searching and purchasing items on ebay.
- When searching for a specific item and using the search bar on ebay use different combinations of words. For example if you are searching for Red Sox Tickets. Try typing in Red Sox Tickets , or Redsox Tickets, or Fenway Tickets, or Red Sox Seats.
A great trick which very few people know about is ****
Lets say you are looking for Red Sox Tickets. Go to www.ebay.com and
- in the search box type in Red Sox Tickets, lets say you came back with 939 items.
- Underneath the search box Select Search Title AND Description and then hit the Search box again. You now have 1126 items. That's almost 200 MORE ITEMS that most people do not get to see.
- Now lets say you found an item, another great trick is to make sure you are purchasing that item at the LOWEST PRICE Possible. Here are a few tips to make sure you are getting the BEST deal.
- Often the seller will have the same item listed in another auction or in store item for cheaper. Yes I realize this makes no sense but understand that people who have 2 or 3 of the same item can list them a week apart. Say they list something for $20 for a 7 day auction, well 6 days later the item has not sold so they put up another same item but for $15. There you go you can now save $5 if you know how. Before you purchase the item click on Sellers Other Items located on the top right corner and perform the TIP # 1 in this guide in his store. Simply search for your item through his store to make sure he does not have it listed cheaper.
- You can also perform the search in TIP # 1 on the main ebay site to make sure OTHER Sellers do not have the SAME ITEM Listed Cheaper. If you are purchasing something popular that many sellers have like a DVD or CD almost 50% of the time if you search their store or ebay's main web site YOU WILL FIND IT CHEAPER!
