Choosing a headpiece or bridal veil can be an overwhelming task.  You want to choose a look that reflects your personal style without spending a fortune.  That is way many frugal brides take advantage of the fine selection here on eBay.  Various vendors feature a whole array of bridal tiaras and veils, however this can make your search especially challenging.  Here are some useful tips that can be used as a guideline for choosing a tiara or veil both on the web and offline:

1.  Choose your dress before you choose a headpiece or veil.  You might find a beautiful headpiece but it will be wasted money if it does not match your dress.  Choosing a dress before the headpiece allows you to not only select a color tone, but also find a design that reflects the components you like the most about your dress such as crystals, rhinestones, or embroidered details.

2.  Meet with your hairstylist before selecting a headpiece or veil.  There are many varieties of headpieces such as bunwraps, crowns, tiaras, combs, and hairpins.  Meeting with your hairstylist will help you to determine how you want to wear your hair for your wedding and then you can narrow down your choices to specific types of headpieces, for a more focused and less overwhelming search.

3.  Set a budget.  Today there are a number of reputable sellers on eBay and websites that offer bridal headpieces and veils.  Most have access to some of the very tiaras and veils your local bridal store chain or bridal boutique carry.  In many cases, they offer online a larger selection of bridal accessories but at a much more affordable price without losing quality in product.  Therefore, set a budget for your headpiece and veil and stick to it.  In most cases, you can find what you are looking for.  Do comparison-shopping and if possible get the style number in order to find the lowest price. 

4.  Perhaps you have made a decision on what kind of headpiece or veil you want but do not seem to find any seller featuring the style for which you are searching.  Do as many brides have done and list your desired piece in the "Want It Now" section of eBay.  Sometimes seller feature standard products in their listings or stores but, have the very item you are searching for and it is just not featured.  It never hurts to let see if someone has your dream piece out there.  Try it out!

4.  Ask questions.  This is your special day.  If you are not sure about the color or components you see in a picture, ask the seller.  They will likely be more than happy to answer your question since it is often hard to visualize what a piece might look like in person. 

5.  Do not wait until the last minute to purchase a headpiece or veil.  Allow yourself at least two months prior to your wear date to receive your headpiece or veil whether your date is in or off-season.  You won't be sorry if you do.
