Thinking of buying a Time Share?

Well, Freddy Diamonds bought  one several years ago and he can tell you the bottom line they are a good thing.

Yes, surely everyone has a horror story to share about buying a time share but when I bought ours I was hesitant because we were buying with RCI and I really was not sure we would use it. Frankly let me share with you if you do travel, or need something to propell you to do MORE traveling Timeshare is the answer. Although over the years time share has evolved into what is now called fractional ownership here is a brief background, how it currently works, and then my opinion why it is so good!

About 40 years ago, a man in Switzerland where Europeans get far more vacation time than we do owned a Hotel.  He was considering retiring when someone suggested sell off little pieces and offer them to Europeans who get 6-8 weeks of vacation that did not want to part with the money for a full house ....and wal ah he sold a one bedroom unit for 1 week, and then some for 2 week intervals and so on.....great for him and a bargain for the person who did not want to buy a Vacation home in Switzerland.....just a fraction of the annual taxes that at least in the USA may be dedcutable.

Current Time share has evolved with major corporations such as Hilton, Mariott, and many other larger Hotel Organizations with Global presence giving average people the opportunity to travel the world at some great accoomodations...and actually own their small fraction within the organization...eventually it lead to a floating point based system...so for conversation say you buy 10000 points in a time share system now days, those points might cost 2500 Points for  a 1 bedroom with Hilton Hotels, or 5000 Points for a 2 bedroom Unit with a full kitchen and seperate bathrooms basically an apartment......wow its great with only a fraction of the cost and a fraction of the taxes.

My opinion, yes you have to pay maintenance, yes you have to pay for it up front...but many times people do not realize Hotel room prices are only going up not down over the long term. Nobody is ever going to save money in an account for vacations each year, plus it really pushes you to take your family and to go on vacation (is that so bad) and I use mine for international business Travel too !  I travel to Europe, Russia, and remote areas of Canada to buy Diamonds and my timeshare has allowed me to often bring my family as well because I have so much extra space and its already paid for.....as I sell Diamonds I always tell people Diamonds are for yourself to approve, not anyone else.....if you want it  get it.., if you buy a Time Share it simply means you are committing to Traveling and the annual payment on the maintenance will push you and force you to go....its an investment in yourself no place else and you know what its easy.....one number to call and they take care of it all...of course if you want to go to a hut in the Maldives you may have to be on a waiting list, nothing is perfect in this world just like my diamonds absolutely perfect, just like my omellette this mornign wasnt completely perfect....but I enjoyed it and was very happy with it....go out there and live your dreams this will push you to do it !!

Plus with the low prices on Ebay being sold from people not traveling anymore how can you really say its not worth it usually 50% below what they paid at the office! Please vote below if this made you think at all! thanks
