I recently purchased this for my 2 year old daughter for Christmas.  It has got to be one of the coolest toys for $25 you can find.  Although the picture quality is not perfect ( a little pixely), it is still very easily viewable.  My daughter loves this.

I was reading one of the other guides about this toy and although it was extremely informative, it was also very misleading.

The TVNow has an internal memory of 128GB. Which, with standard picture quality, will allow a little over an hour of record time. This is CLEARLY stated on the package.  It is also CLEARLY stated on the package that you can recieve more memory from a HIGH SPEED SD card which is not included.

The guide that I was reading stated that, "The outer packaging does not suggest that performance will suffer using a slower speed SD card."

In my opinion, this is incorrect.  When the package clearly states that you need a HIGH SPEED SD card, to me, that says that performance will not be the same if you get a regular SD card.  I assure you that I am no genius in the technolgy world, but when I read this, I immediately went to the photo section of Walmart and asked for a HIGH SPEED SD card.  I actually told the lady that I wasn't sure if it was different than an regular SD card, but this is what the package clearly stated.

I picked up a high speed SD card with 512GB for only $28.  I recorded Disney's "Cars" (which is 116 mins) on this card in the highest picture quality and I still have room left for about another hour of recording.

As far as the battery life (I used 4 Energizer AAA's), my daughter has watched all of "Cars" and two half hour episodes of "JoJo's Circus" and they don't seem to be working any slower as of yet

One downside to this toy is the actual recording.  Because you have to plug this into the "Video Out" part of your unit, you have to unplug your TV and you can not see anything until you press record.  When you press record it will show up on the 3" by 2.5" screen.  Also, the volume WILL NOT turn down during recording, so unless you want to listen, you will need to plug in your headphones.

Hopefully this has helped you in your decision to purchase this neat toy!
