The purpose of this guide is to try to help others to not waste their money on Tiffany Fakes!  In particular, One of the newest and very popular items that Tiffany & Co. sells: Paloma Picasso's Sterling Silver Tenderness Heart Ring. 

I recently went on a hunt to find this ring while vacationing for my anniversary in Mexico.  Neither of the two stores we found carried the ring in my size.  My husband and I finally decided to wait until we got back home to order the ring directly from Tiffany.com 

While waiting to receive my ring, I noticed a couple of rings being sold on Ebay claiming to be the real thing, being sold with bag, box, pouch, care card, etc.  I also noticed that some of the item descriptions listed the size as: small, medium, large, or adjustable.  This was a bit confusing to me since Tiffany's ring sizes are purchased by number sizes.

Then comes the issue of the craftsmanship of the ring and the markings/signatures.   (1) The ring appears to be solid from the outside, but inside the actual band looks like a valley or a trench.  (2) If the ring is layed flat and you look through the hearts, the Tiffany & Co. signature is not visible. (3) The words Tiffany & Co. 925 are located on the inside right side of the ring.  Paloma Picasso's signature is located on the opposite side. 

As for packaging: Everybody knows that Tiffany & Co. jewelry comes in those fabulous Tiffany Blue boxes and suede pouches, and the ring boxes are navy blue and not black.  My ring came in a small suede pouch w/ snap closure, tucked inside a larger tiffany box.  The famous (sterling silver care card) only has Tiffany & Co. printed on the side without the Care instructions.

I know there are not many of these rings listed on Ebay yet, but I'm sure that we'll see a lot more of them that are fake.  Just trying to help someone save money.  I almost bid on one, but just didn't feel like it was right.  Please buy direct from Tiffany stores, or Tiffany online if you can, just to have peace of mind and have no doubt about your piece being authentic!

The Tenderness Heart ring is definitely a great purchase, and i'm glad that I made it.  I wish I could have had the one with diamonds, but just wasn't in the budget right now, LOL.  Maybe someday!!!  Happy Ebaying!
