Many times Tibet stamps including multiples and complete sheets are offered on ebay (and conventional auction houses) with the comment "as is“, "not sure if genuine“ "in unissued colors" etc..
Usually, all such stamps are fake.

It is not always very easy to check the authenticity of Tibet stamps, however, if you see an offering with Tibet sheets in panes of 24 (2 x 12 stamps), tete beche pairs etc…, they are fake.

Please view below samples of fake items offered recently on ebay.

The below sheet of Tibetan wireless Telegraph Stamp was described as Plate of 4 stamps, uncatalogued proof, well, not a proof but a simple forgery...,. genuine ones have screw marks on the corner of the stamps and there are no proofs from these stamps
