After deciding to complete a Tiara Amber Sandwich Crystal Dinnerware collection that I started 30 years ago, I discovered many shoppers and collectors don't know all the facts about Indiana Glass.
Indiana Glass was made in Dunkirk, Indiana and they produced many types of glass. The 2 glass types I'm speaking of are Anchor Hocking of Amber color and tiara Amber Sandwich Crystal. Many sell them as both being the same in which they aren't. The Sandwich design is more complex and intricate in it's detail where Anchor Hocking amber is not.
The pattern that is often mistaken is actually called Concord. It's a nice lacy pattern.
Tiara Amber Sandwich Crystal has a deep amber glow and the other has a light yellow color. You can be fooled if you don't study before buying.
Tiara made many designs of glass. Indeed you might have Tiara but the difference between is the design name, mine being sandwich.
Tiara glass was made from 1970 to 1998. Sandwich amber was made 1970 to 1986.
I have pictures I can share if anyone would like more detailed views.
Hope this helps the Tiara owner of the world!

I have located a great site for you to read that tells and shows exactly what I'm saying here.
This link shows you the different designs. The Indiana Glass is the sandwich design I talk of. The Anchor Hocking is the false design that some pass as the sandwich design so be very VERY careful in your purchases!!!!
Please email me for the links! This will make it all clear!
Glad to be of help to all of you!!!!
