I was trying to sell a New Thompson Center Barrel, Stock, and scope and i also offered a Buy It Now. This scammer hit the BuyItNow button which automatically ends the auction and he is also able to see your personal email address thru receiving the payment options. He immediately started emailing me outside of Ebay and of course claimed to be a buyer for a particular client that wanted my product. The client supposedly lived in West Virginia but he wanted me to receive a check for his service as well as what the BuyItNow was and send the extra thru Western Union to him outside of the country. My hats off to Ebay because as soon as he did the BuyItNow, he also ended his Ebay membership, and Ebay notified me instantly that he was no longer a member. I have already been gotten by the Western Union type scam more than 3 years ago when they were new to everyone so i was confident from the beginning what was going on but if i didnt have that previous experience. i may have been more ceptable to falling for it. Please Beware! Never trust the Western Union deal or the excess funds deal!
