OK, how many sellers have heard this from a buyer? I've even said it myself. In the last two months I've had three occasions to wonder about this. So, I decided to do some research. One lady wrote in her feedback for me that she was disappointed because she thought the Peter Stone Pebbles that I sold her was beige. My auction stated that my husband and I had argued over what color it was. And I mentioned that I had held the horse up to my monitor trying to tweak in the color and never could get it right. I thought the horse was a pinkish color. My husband said it was white. She thought it was going to be tan and was disappointed because it was a plain white body (which it wasn't because I have bodies and they aren't that color). But I didn't argue with her. I just apologized and offered to have her return it which she declined. Anyway, a few weeks later, I bought another horse, a Peter Stone FC from his ebay site, that had a super sheen to it. When I received it, it had no sheen. The sheen was a very bright copper color and he had nothing like the auction page showed. Well, I wrote to the Stones and they said it was just color variation. Then I wrote to the other bidders that also got one of 10. I showed them the photos of mine against the photos in the auction. They asked me where I got the photos of the ones on the Stone auction page. They said their horses were like mine, but where did I see those with the copper sheen. So I figured it out right there. Their monitors do not see what my monitor sees. There were none with a copper sheen. My monitor just made it look like that. The lady who thought she was getting a beige horse had a monitor that showed it that way. All our monitors are different. So the next time your horse doesn't look like the auction horse, try to remember this before you leave negative feedback or go off yelling at the seller. There can be a huge difference in the way a horse looks on your monitor and another person's.

Here is the Pebble that the lady thought was going to be beige. What color is it on your screen?? It's pink on mine. LOL!
