Let the truth be told. 
Let’s face it, expensive theater seating is NOT that comfortable.  The concept is great and the chairs look pretty comfortable but one must admit...they are not even comfortable.   I had to come to that same reality when shopping for some furniture to fill my new home theater room I built.  I went to all the home theater stores to see what they showcased in their theater rooms.  I came across many very comfortable couches but the cost ranged from $4,000-$10,000...for a COUCH!   Next I looked at those ultra cool looking theater seats that could recline and had a cool little drink holder.   I sat in one, reclined it back then used ever muscle in my body to keep the chair from snapping shut on me like a Venus Flytrap.  

It was at that time that I came to the realization that my new theater room would never become the dream room I thought it once would be.  The comfy couches were way too expensive and the theater seats were also way too expensive and most importantly were NOT comfortable.  I prepared myself to purchase a lower priced couch and make do with what I had.  In a sense I had made peace with the fact that I would never have the sweet home theater setup I once imagined. 

However, all things changed when I visited the local mall in St. Louis, MO.   I came across a store called LoveSac selling these HUGE comfortable bean bag chairs.   To me they looked just a like a larger version of the bean bags I grew up using.   I walked around the store and plopped from Love Sack to Love Sack.   Testing out the 6 footer, then the massive 8 footer.    I was so excited because I had finally found the Holy Grail, the exact piece of furniture I was looking for.   In my excitement I rushed up to the cashier ready to purchase one of these massive bags of foam.   I said "I will take a 6 foot Movie Sack in Black Micro Suede please"   The employee was very nice and put my order into the computer.   Then I heard him say, "Your total comes to $634.56 which includes sales tax"  

It was at that time that I believe my jaw literally hit the ground...$634.00???  For a giant bean bag???? Are you crazy????   Needless to say I did not purchase this LoveSac that day.  In fact I walked out of the store with an idea in my mind.   I would find one for a cheaper price and if that didn’t exist, I would build my own product.    I would make it better than a LoveSak, but less than half the price.   How would I do this?   I didn't know but I would find out.

After months of research and phone calls to foam suppliers all over the country, I had my plan in place.   My business model would consist of a strictly online business to cut overhead costs of running retail stores like Love Sac.   My business would also be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week…try doing that with a retail store.  I would sell my products for 1/3 the price of the Love Sac and other competing products like Foof Chair and Poof Chair to make these products affordable to not only the weathly people who could afford a $600 chair but also to college kids and families that didn't have the money for an expensive couch or overpriced LoveSac.
