April is quickly coming upon us. For the NFL fans out there will be wearing team colors hopeing their team will make the right selection. Of course there will be busts in the past (Akili Smith, Ryan Leaf, Cade Mcnown) but there will be legends among them.
Who knew Tom Brady would make it to 3 super bowl apperances and win all of them? A sixth round (199th draft pick) gamble payed off for the Patriots. Or People BOOed Donovan Mcnabb after being drafted 2nd in the 1999 draft, Donovan Mcnabb almost as loved now as the phili cheesteak! Who knows who will be stellar this NFL season and who would be a bust!
Sinorice Moss, a speedy prototype just like his brother, 4.38 40 time, only 3 other WR ran faster times. His speed is uncanny! He might not be the tallest WR, but sure is a speedy guy! Be sure to watch for him to make an impact, possibly the 2nd year of his career just like big brother.
Mathias Kiwanuka, DE from boston college, his stock has dropped about 10 spots down. he was projected to go to the eagles at the #14 pick. Durring the senior bowl this guy had trouble getting around D' Brickshaw "the brick" Ferguson. I say let this guy mature into a player look for him to make an impact towards the 2-3rd year of his career
This is how my top 11 picks of the NFL draft of 2006 will go.
Houstan Texans-Reggie bush--is there anyone else that they will take? they would be dumb not to take this x factor into their offense...but then again no one could run behind no offensive line? look for them to trade there pick to #4 or 5 to get the brick./
#2New Orleans saints-JAY CUTLER
this might surprise you, but they said this guy's stock has risen so much that they say hes better than Leinhart. This guy will be great! Either the saints take him, or the titans at #3 will take this guy.
#3Tennessee Titans-Matt Leinhart
like i said this guy has tremendous upside to him, if he goes #3 to the Titans see him and norm chou rekindle an old flame! and a mentor like steve mcnair, what could be better?!
#4 new york jets- AJ Hawk
they need some spaces to fill in this draft, Johnny Abraham is gone, ty law is gone....AJ hawk is a perfect play in NY jets's offense!
#5Greenbay Packers-LenDale White
wondering why so early? Looks like the Packers need a new Running back. Ahman Green doesnt look like he is going to stay with the packers, and who knows what Samkon gado can and cannot do (fumbles) so look for a "jamal lewis" type running back here.
#6I do believe its San Fransisco 49ers-Michael Huff
they need ALL the help they can get........
#7 Oakland Raiders--Mario Williams
This guy was a beast in college and could well be like a julius peppers kinda guy! same alma matter. like the 9ers the raidas need all the help they can get, there team is becoming extinct like dinosaurs!
#8Buffalo bills-Santonio Holmes
the loss of eric moulds could be costly, but no more worries! WR santonio holes to the rescue!
#9 Detroit Lions-Haloti Ngata
1 word...beast....4 words would help the team
#10 Arizona Cardinals-- Vince Young
As much as i hate to say it Vince Young isnt that great. His arm strength is weak...but could make big plays with his legs like michael vick! who knows having Kurt warner as a mentor wouldnt be so bad. Having Anquan Boldin, Larry Fritzgerland, wouldnt be that bad to toss the football to either......either vince young or deangelo williams...
#11 St. louis rams-Jimmy williams
CB face it Aenas williams is getting old, you need to replace him. Jimmy wiilaims could play either safety or corner it doesnt really matter..this guy will shut you down
