Are you a 20 year veteran or a 20 minute beginner? Either way choosing the right bowling shoe can improve your game. I have been using Linds bowling shoes for the past 15 years because of thier durability but with new shoes from Dexter and Brunswick and even Linds, you can now change soles for certain lane conditions. For instance you may want a sole that has less slide if you bowl on tradtional wood lanes and approaches and a sole that slides more on synthetic lanes and approaches. The new shoes today have interchangeable soles if you bowl on different lanes or tournaments throughout the week or month. If you bowl in just one league, once a week, at one bowling center then you can save a few bucks by choosing the permanent soles for those lanes. Be sure to check your local pro shop for different brands and get pro advice about the condition of lanes and the right shoe. Do your research because if everything goes right you will have your bowling shoe for a very long time. I have.
