I am sure you have seen on the news or heard about the global warming that affects all of us that live on this planet. Take some time in you life to do your own part to make a difference on waste or your carbon footprint. Ways that I have done this. I have installed a solar array system on my home. Last month our bill was -$21. I have a Robomower robotic electric mower. Not only does this save me time from having to mow my lawn. It does not use a drop of fuel. Did you know that items like weed eaters, mower and blowers have a larger carbon foot print than a car. Why you ask well almost all don't have any smog equipment like a catalytic converter. I also use a cordless weed eater.
One of my cars is a Mercedes diesel that I have converted it to run on used veg oil. The appliances in our home are all energy star. One of the most important appliance that uses most energy in every home is a fridge. This is always running so its best to start there.
Think about ways that you can cut down on waste. I see a ton of people walking around with those little plastic water bottles. Fact is it takes 1/3 of petroleum of the size of those plastic bottles to make each one. Think about getting a bottle you can refill over and over. I know you can recycle those bottles. Think about how much energy it takes to recycle each one. From transporting it to melting it down to make another one. This is just a few ideas of things you can do. Take a few minutes each day to search online how to become more green. Everyone will benefit from this from generation to generation. If you have more questions or would like to email me feel free to email me at smookers_1@hotmail.com . I have been doing this in my own life for about 20 years now even before it was cool. Thanks Aaron
