I recently was looking on another site (craigs list) when I came across someone asking NOT for money, but for soap, shampoo, toilet paper for herself and her children!  She recently became a single parent and was starting a new job...in a new city...and wouldn't get paid for at least 2 weeks!

We don't have alot, and I have never acted like I  am better than anyone~ this listing hit me hard! That was me before I met my current husband!   With my husband out of work, and ME not able to sell any HIGH priced items on ebay~ still reached into our piggy banks and bought this woman about $10 worth of items for her and her daughters to use UNTIL she got that first check~

The smile on their faces when they saw the coloring books and crayons was more than my heart could take! I had tears running down my face~ the woman hugged us both and called us ANGELS HERE ON EARTH!!!  I wish we ALL could be JUST THAT...ANGELS HERE ON EARTH!!   The world would be a better place!  IF you get the chance~ donate to your local shelters~ it could one day be YOU  looking back at you!
