With the launch of a new console, one thing gamers always want to see is the new design of the controller. People are always concerned with the button count, the comfort level, and its overall aesthetic style. Luckily, Microsoft did not disappoint with their Xbox 360 controller. Coming in two styles, wired and wireless, the official Microsoft Xbox 360 controller is a great way to play some great games.
Now, there is no difference, in terms of comfort and playability, between the wired and wireless ontrollers. First of all, and most obviously, one is connect by a wire, and the other uses wireless technology to connect to the Xbox 360. The second difference is the price…the wired controller is $29.99, whereas the wireless one is $39.99. Other than that, there are no differences.
That being said, it’s time to discuss the controller itself. It features two control sticks, one directional pad, four face buttons, two trigger buttons, two shoulder buttons, a Start button, a back button, and a Home button to press to return to the Xbox 360 menu or shut the system down. Everything is placed just right…people with any sized hand will be able to successfully use this controller. There is no clutter on the controller either. The buttons are strategically placed, with every single part of the controller reachable with ease. There will be no fiddling around with this controller, as opposed to the original Xbox controller whose black and white buttons were out of reach and awkward to press.
