Certainly I do not know everything. No one does. However, I am well-enough schooled in Vibrational and Energetic Healing/Medicine to feel that I have something worthwhile to add to a discussion that has both fans & foes. I have witnessed the results of these healing techniques first hand, most importantly, within my own body. I used to have a very real, hereditary autoimmune disease....it is now gone (not in remission), but not due to pills or surgery. Alternative medicine & spiritual faith changed my body on a cellular level, because in reality, the mind and body are not separate, they are interconnected. I embarked on a program of meditation, nutritional therapy, deep breathing, color & crystal therapy, and Reiki---and the illness is no longer a part of my body on any level.

Consider the person who becomes physically ill when they are faced with the task of speaking in public. Their illness is very real. They shake, they vomit, they get a migraine.....the fear in their mind has affected their cells, and the adrenal glands have sent out an alert to prepare for fight or flight. Adrenaline spikes, the heart races, the skin sweats. Result? Panic attack. Too many of these sorts of episodes and the person's cells begin to mutate and become damaged, and may arrive at a place where they cannot repair themselves. So, if we are able to create an illness from a thought, why can we not influence cells to heal in the same way? Think of it as a panic attack in reverse.....not impossible at all, dear skeptic!

Quantum physics has shown that everything is made of energy, vibrating at its own rate, and energy cannot be made or unmade, only transformed. Watch this happen (alchemy in action) with a glass of water that is heated. Hey, where did it go? Still there, all around you, in the form of steam though. And that steam can be turned into condensation if the temperature of the same room is lowered. Not exactly magic, but it is profound, especially when this concept is applied to the mind. You become what you think. If you think you are beautiful, your body will release endorphins, you'll radiate positivity, and your body will function very well for you because it is relaxed and working as an integrated machine. Feed your body well and it will serve you better than a caffeine and junk food diet would. Your cells not only need nutrition, but it is documented fact that babies who are not nurtured & held as infants do not thrive, and can even die from lack of love energy. Very interesting!

There are realms we are not yet privy to--- undiscovered territories of the mind and body, and even the soul. We will never know everything there is to know! Newsweek recently published an article about the origins and location of the soul. There are many varying opinions, but scientists agree that we would be very unwise to assume that if we cannot see it, it is not there. That is flying in the face of what makes us human. So, to discount crystals (their energy can be seen with Kirlian photography, and by the way, how is it that they are used in clocks?), color therapy (example: the colors baby pink and light blue work very well in prisons and hospitals to keep inmates and patients calm), energy healing (energy affects energy), or the like, as quackery just shows ignorance, pure and simple.

When I was sixteen, I had a premonition the night before I had a bad accident on my bicycle. I had an excruciating pain in my left leg during sleep; it was so unbearable that I limped across the hall to my mother, who promptly told me to go back to bed...'probably just a cramp', she assured me (I never had another pain like that during sleep again, nor had I had one prior to that one time). I went back to bed without argument. The next morning I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle to school. The car was speeding through the school zone, and although I was almost across the yellow lines in the middle of the road, the car's bumper hit the rear of the bike and injured my left calf so badly that the ER docs said my leg should have been broken. I could not walk on it for weeks.
Some would call this coincidence, the vision I had the night before. Others would say it is solid proof that there is so much more to the human experience than we can ever know, or are allowed to know in this earthly lifetime. I was too young to have known how to use the information I received to avoid the accident that fateful day, but ever since then, I have remained very open to psychic phenomena, and I am seldom disappointed by what I receive. I guess you could say that at sixteen, I realized that I was extremely sensitive to the energies that make up everything around us. A door was opened for me then. It took a long time before I was brave enough to walk completely through it, but when I did, everything became crystal clear!

This guide is indeed a reply to someone who recently attacked my profession, stating that energy healers are thieves, charlatans, and worse. I hold college degrees in my field for each facet of energy medicine that I practice, and I have many clients whom I have helped to reach a place of peace and bliss, and quite honestly, that is all the proof I need to know within myself that my work is worthy and legitimate. A person may not believe in something, but that does not make it invalid. I don't believe in everything, but I'd be a fool to deny that anything is possible!
