When looking for to buy a Super Nintendo video game system, there are many things to look for:
=Buying Tips=
*If it is yellowish, or otherwise discolored, it means it could have come from a smoking household. Generally stay away from these, as the quality won't be as high as those from non-smoking households.
*Read the description carefully, make sure that it works. Also look at the sellers feedback score, you want to make sure that they have at least 98% positive feedback. (But remember to use common sense)
*Make sure it comes with A/V adapters if you don't have access to a TV with RF. If you do end up getting one with RF, you can also buy an adapter.
*You can save money if you buy the games separately. A SNES with bundled games will generally have more bids, and therefore a greater price. See if you can get a shipping discount by buying games separately from the same seller. Also, you do want controllers to be included, because these can be expensive in their own rite.
*Don't get ripped off on shipping. Shipping should be in the range of USD $8 to USD $15 for parcel post or first class mail through USPS.
*Make sure that none of the buttons look indented, protruded, or otherwise lopsided. This could indicate that the system was not taken very well care of and the buttons might not work.
=Great Games=
Chrono Trigger
Contra III
Doom
Final Fantasy III
Mega Man X3
Mortal Kombat II
Street Fighter II
Super Castlevania IV
Super Ghouls and Ghosts
Super Metroid
Super Mario World
Super Mario All-Stars
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
