H. L. Lindquist published this series of 20 books in 1940-8.  Typically there are seven to eleven topics per book of assembled articles about philately.  The books are now classified by colors.  I have gathered technical information and also the article names.  It is presented below.  The Emerald Book is a great example to write of.  It has an excellent and lengthy article on the Confederate stamps and their covers along with wonderful stories about Trans-Atlantic Mails and Puerto Rico stamps.
