The Slow, Hard Way or The eBay Business Way?

Since I started my eBay business a year ago, tons of people are calling me to ask how and why I'm doing so well.
One of the things I explain is simply this.

For the past 3 years I was into traditional internet marketing. You know...the kind where you'd build a website (or pay top dollar to get someone else to do it), create products and then try to drive traffic to it in the hope that someone (please God) would buy from me.

The worst thing about this type of marketing is that the rules change on a weekly basis. Every week some internet guru would spruk the newest and best way to get traffic to your website (free of course) where they'd be lining up to buy whatever it was you were selling.

Yeah right. I tried just about everything over that past 3 years and while we had success on many occasions (my husband Matt understood it all) we could never guarantee or count on money coming in.

We were just another website selling stuff floating around in cyberspace.

I used to think there was something wrong with me as I simply couldn't 'master' this internet marketing thingo. I know I'm not the only one that feels like this though.

And then I discovered eBay. I'd never have to pay some geek to build me a website ever again, there were over 212 million users on eBay and most of them were BUYERS, I'd never have to drive traffic to this website hoping and praying that someone would spend a few bucks with me, I'd never have to give google adwords and all the rest of that stuff another thought. Ever again.

Best of all, eBay is the most visited website in the world for shoppers.

Now it all made perfect sense.

Why on earth would you bother going the hard road when you had literally millions of people scouring eBay with their credit cards in hand? They didn't need to visit you 7 times before they bought...they were ready right away!

I had instant success on eBay and I'm now an evangelist for eBay. Very very passionate because I'm in total control of my income every week.
The key is knowing exactly what you're doing and why your're doing it.

Once you know this...you will sleep soundly every night knowing exactly what to sell on eBay and where to get it. The guessing game will be forever over.

Just do it.
