If you are a regular seller on ebay and receive payment via Paypal you know about the .30 cent minimum plus percentage on each transaction
What if I could change that .30 cent minimum to a NICKEL, would it put more money in your account? In the words of a former Vice Presidential Candidate, "You Betcha!" If I shared with you how to do it would you be so kind as to check the box below that this guide was helpful? If you answered yes please read on.
Paypal has a program for sellers that do volume but on lower ticket items. The program is called the "Micropayment" program. Here is some information. You are charged .05 on each item plus 5%, not the standard .30 plus percentage.
To change to micropayment pricing, you can contact customer service by taking the following steps:
1. Log into your PayPal account by accessing the PayPal website
2. Click on the 'Contact Us' link located at the bottom of the page
3. Next, click on the 'Contact Customer Service' link on the Help Center homepage
4. Select 'Sending/Receiving Money' as a topic, then 'PayPal Fees' as a subtopic
5. Summarize your request and click 'Continue'
6. Use the 'Additional Information' text box to submit your request and click 'Continue'
Once your request has been processed, they will email you to confirm that your account was changed.
You can also go to the Paypal site and click on the contact us link on the bottom, a new page will pop up where you can have your questions answered online. I have switched to this new pricing format and am saving a minimum of .25 cents on each transaction I complete. This adds up. I hope this helps, and that you check the helpful box below. You can also contact Paypal by telephone to make this change to your account.
