Have you ever wondered how those models get that intense, perfect lid look? Well, here's a fabulous way to create the look you want at home!
The Pros The Cons
Gorgeous color that matches your shadow palette Takes a little more time
NO CREASING Friends may be jealous!
Lasts all day
Fun and Flirty
1) Start out by washing and moisturizing face
2) Tweeze and fill in eyebrows
3) Pick out anywhere from 2-4 fabulous colors (maybe even pick out some colors that match what you're going to wear)
4) Layer an eyeshadow primer on lids (my favs would be Urban Decay Primer Potion or Too Faced Shadow Insurance). Allow to dry for about 2 mins.
5) Take the lightest color and apply all over lid. Go from tear duct and stop at end of brow. You can even create a more dramatic effect by brushing a little bit of this color down the side of the tear duct and/or applying a little bit as an under eyeliner.
6) Next take your medium color and apply all over lower lid.
7) Then, take your darkest color and either apply along crease, OR you can apply just to the outer corner of eye up to the top of where the medium meets with the lightest color.
You can stop there, or
8) Apply another similar color to the tear duct part of your lid.
MAKE SURE YOU ARE BLENDING YOUR COLORS SLIGHTLY, BUT LEAVE SOME DEFINITION IN BETWEEN.
