My experience with computer has been a long journey for my well being. In fact, computers have been such a big factor in my life. Anyway, ever heard of Dual core? Fast is what you been hearing? No! It’s a Joke. Don't be trick with what they advertise on TV, mentioning about the how fast this Processors is. It’s laughable to be honest. The marketing company expects people like us to spend our hard working money for the best technology which in my opinion is the new Quad Processors. I find it very provoking how they just came out with this; Since Dual Core came out close to the same time as Windows Vista. I think that’s enough ranting for now. The first thing to focus on is the hard drive. Do we need a lot of space? Maybe not, I think at least 500GB is enough for the typical desktop to use on a regular base. How about these Widescreen monitors I been hearing so much about? Get one, no doubt about it, especially the glass frame ones. (It gives your widescreen monitor a nice shinny reflection.) Next is your Tower, Personally choosing a slim line pc is not the best way to go, unless you want something stylist. The bigger towers are best for customizing purposes only. Now, let’s talk about memory. I believe sticking with two Gigs of ram is the best way to go; however, sticking with 1 gig will leave you annoyed and unpleased with performance. This also applies with laptops as well. Choosing a keyboard and a mouse has to be a tough one for you geeks. To be honest it’s not. In fact, it’s easier than you think, get a keyboard and mouse that has the same color and style your tower and monitor is; Simple as that. If you’re a gamer or want perfection in graphics, NVIDIA GeForce 8 series is the way to go. (Keep in mind, that this will make life a lot easier for you if you’re planning on getting a larger monitor size or installing a internal/external TV tuner.) In my opinion, choosing a CPU is not easy, obtaining the wrong one for your computer can be a risk; make sure you look up the specs from the computer’s manufacture website. I was not inpress at all with a Dual core processor from my personal experience. It’s not that great like you think and it will let you down. So wait till you have enough money for the new Quad processor. The best Operating system usually turns into a debate, if you want good visualization install Vista, but then you’re going to suffer memory lost. I recommend Installing Windows XP for best Performance. Last but not least, Multimedia. The best pair of speakers to buy is Creative Labs GigaWorks T20 2.0 Speaker System. A new class of desktop speakers made for the discerning listener who knows good audio. The Creative GigaWorks T20 is a powerful speaker system that's made for desktop performance like no other. If you have any comments about my guide to a perfect Pc, I encourage you to do so.
