I live on the east coast and like many others, we are entering what is probably the most expensive winter season our younger generation has ever experienced.   Expensive in the way of heating our homes.  Propane, Oil, and Electricity have all skyrocketed in price, and there seem's to be no real solution to our dilema.  Our state alone has experienced a 72% increase this year in our electric bill.  And everyone knows the cost of gas has not treated us very well either.

I have found the new technology of Micathermic heaters to be a life saver!  This new technology uses a combination of 80% radiant heat and 20% convection heat, uses less electricity and is extremely light weight and space saving.  It heat's your room 50% faster than Oil filled radiators and weigh's less than half. Their flat panel design saves tons of valuable space.  Although, these heater's heat very well they are not so hot to touch.  You would have to leave your hand on it for more than several seconds to actually get burned.

I currently own A "Soleus air" brand micathermic heater and have just recently purchased a "Bionaire" brand heater which is extremely similar. (Both were around $80.00)  The best price seems to be on E-bay.  The only difference in the two I have noticed is that the Bionaire heater get's a little hotter, and the soleus air brand is on wheel's and can be wall mounted. 

These thing's really could heat your whole house. Don't get me wrong.  You will be much more comfortable with a whole house forced air system, but if you want to save some money, or your heating system could use a jump start I definantly would keep this technology in mind. 

I am currently not selling these heater's on e-bay, but am currently working on a deal to hopefully sell these for less than $80. Thanks for reading!
