i currently listed a box set of the hobbit and the lord of the rings. im selling it cause ive never really even thought about reading the series, but now that its listed im getting listers remorse.  im begining to wonder if maybe i should read the triligy myself.  ive tried before but it gets so boring so fast.  ive only gotten through a few pages of the first book the hobbit and i cant even keep my eyes on the page.  Am i missing out on a good read or is this just a triligy for hardcore fans of lord of the rings?  thanks for reading.
