For that person who is just getting into gaming this is the perfect guide to read.

Now first things first, you need to see what games you like. You may like RPGs, a role playing game where in most cases you can continue playing it. Or maybe you are not into that kind of stuff maybe you like strategy games, this type of game is one that you mostly have an overview of a civilization and your job is to protect and conquer to others, most of theses games are on the PC but, lately they have been making them for gaming systems. Like myself I mostly like this type fighting games, this type is very simple you fight your enemies and to beat the game you kill them all, this type includes shooter games because they are basically the same.  And games can even be broken up more by the types: puzzle, retro, simulation, racing and there are many more types of games.

And now that you know what games you like you need to see what game systems you want. Now, if you want a system that has good graphics and is fairly cheap I would go with the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 costs about $400 for the good one but, you can go down to the core edition which is $300 but, I highly unrecommended this because you are going to have to pay about a $100 just to get the parts to play games on the core. The core has no memory and a memory stick costs about maybe $30 and a hard drive costs about $60. But, Playstation 3 in my opinion has better graphics, but the two problems is that it costs $600 and it doesn't have as many games as the Xbox 360. Also the games for the Playstation are really not that good. Wii is for the people who like Nintendo games and like to get in some exercise. This is because you have to move to make your character move. Personally I love the Wii and the price of $250 is great. And PC is like the universal gaming system, it can play almost any game but, most of the time the good games for the system that you want are on the PC. And the PC has its own games that are amazing, like Battlefield 2.

And lastly you need to ask yourself what games you like again. Do you like graphically gory stuff or just a small amount or from a pinch to none. This is rated by E, T, M and A games, A games are made just for adults.

So have fun in the world of gaming.
