THE GRID 256 MINI SERIES DYLAN MCDERMOTT BIN FREE SHIPThis movie came as a real surprise to me as I began my viewing with absolutely no expectations.  In fact, I  honestly felt I was going to watch the first 10 minutes (which is my threshhold limitation of reject or play) get bored and finish my ebay store items.  I finished all 3 discs (265 minutes) and took only two essential personal breaks!   This movie really picked up where Syriana (that I really expected SOOOO much more from) dropped the ball!

On the back cover of the movie it states "A heart-pounding thriller" is an understatement.  It is a well thought out, balanced movie that really makes you stop and think about how vulnerable we really are in the US.  The director Mikael Salomon paid incredible attention in full developing the charactors and interweaving their relationship which seems to be amiss in most movies these days.  Combine this with a large dose of realism and a well-developed plot, you have the making of a 5 star movie.

Featuring a top-notch cast including Dylan McDermott and Julianna Margulies; this mini-series plays out in CSI style with the hi-tech slickness of "24".   I have found myself mostly disappointed with movies seen lately; I ranked this as one of the two movies I have seen in the "EXCELLENT" category in the last YEAR!  Don't miss this one!
