Here they come! Like a runaway freight train, and there aint no stoppin' 'em. The generation that didn't know how to say NO to themselves. The biggest wave of retiree's we have ever seen is about to begin feasting on it's stock market investments, medicare, social security and whatever else can be milked out of the emaciated government entitlement programs..  They will gorge themselves on every last drop left as the greatest ponzi scheme ever perpetuated on a country comes to an end. Who gets to carry the burden left behind? Well............ their children of course. That will be the legacy of the great free love, if it feels good do it, self gratification generation. The me generation's final gift to America will be it's retirement, and the inevitable price for it will be paid.................by everyone else.

How does a country over 9 trillion dollars in debt, printing money 24 hours a day, with huge trade imbalances, paying social security, medicare, medicaide, prescription drugs, welfare benefits, fighting expensive wars, massive consumer debt, etc. etc. etc. pay benefits for the most immense mass of people ever to descend on the government dole? If more go on the receiving end and less are on the tax paying end............ how exactly does all this get paid for? Answer: It doesn't. Less tax revenue for more waiting to take it means collapse of the programs. Who left alive today has experienced a severe economic depression? Not that little hiccup we had in the 1930's, but a Depression that could make the first one look like a cake walk. What if this mass of people did not prepare for retirement and have the savings they need, or what if the stock market experiences the inevitable bear market or collapses? What if the value of the dollar continues its free fall. All of these things are real possibilities, in fact more like probabilities.

The real mass starts to impact our economy in 2010 -2012 the timing couldnt be more imposing. We are stretched to the limit and this will be the last straw. Why write this? You don't have to agree with me and it certainly is arguable as to how the future will pan out. I know one thing for certain. If i was going to prepare myself and protect my family i would own Gold and Silver. Why? Because no matter how it happens, the price for this countries irresponsibility will be paid. Gold and Silver are not paper money and will survive. Paper money will be useless, always has and always will. It's just a matter of time. History proves it and we aren't any wiser, in fact we are more foolish because we think we know so much. As has been said...........a fool and his money are soon parted. In many ways we are living in a fools paradise. A lot of fools will soon be parting with their money, or what they trusted as money. Now is the time to get out of debt, live within your means, and by all means BUY GOLD, BUY SILVER. Hold it store it put it away and hope you never need it. But by all means own it. It just makes good common sense.

By the way i am on the tail end of the baby boomer generation and this is in no way a personal criticism on individuals, but the reality of the legacy to be left behind by the generation i am a part of. So don't take it personally.
