I know this May Sound Wacky, But One of my hobbies is Buying coins I think May be Under Rated By Fake Grading Companies. It's Rare but occasionally I hit paydirt. Most over Rated Morgan Dollars From These Companies are not only A Joke but Borderline Fraud. I recently ran Across a Coin Listed at MS-65 that was no more than maybe Very Fine, But I'm sure You all have seen Similar offerings on Ebay. Occasionally, I'll spot Something that is Selling for Peanuts That I think will be Worth More and Buy it, even though it is obviously a bogus Grade. About 3 Years ago I spotted an 1884-S morgan Graded by some Off the wall Grading Company as MS-63 selling for some Ridiculous Price like $50.00. A real Ms-63 in this Year and Mint would Be in the Thousands, But it looked to me like it "Could" Grade AU or maybe MS-60, So I took a Chance and Bought it. When It Arrived, I cracked it out of the Phony grading Service Holder and shipped it off to ANACS. When It Came Back it was Graded "details of AU-55 Cleaned". No It wasn't MS-63, But At AU-55 it was Worth a Couple of Hundred Bucks. I won't Lie, Some of the Coins I bought over The Years That I thought Were Worth More were Actually Junk and Still Sitting in a box here in my house, But Every Now And then I get Lucky, Just Like Playing The Lottery, Most times You Lose, But when You hit a Few Numbers every now and then it tastes so much Sweeter, And I like the Idea that the Fake Companies are occasionally tripped up by there own game.
