I think I may be able to offer a little insight on the topic of Junior vs Misses sizes.  I can't count how many times over the years people have asked me that question.  I am a 36 yr old woman. 5 feet 5 inches tall and I weigh 100 pounds.  I'm the woman you see shopping under a huge sign that reads "HOT BACK TO SCHOOL SPECIALS!"  There have been times while running around for last minute vacation apparel that I have given serious consideration to buying short shorts that have the words 'BIG FLIRT" written boldly across the butt :) because anything age appropriate is not going to fit. The biggest difference between misses and junior clothing is the cut.  I know it's often noted that misses items are cut more generously in the bust and hips which is true but there is a little more to it.  The shoulders are also smaller on junior size tops.  The thighs and legs on junior pants/bottoms is slightly smaller too.  The general cut of junior clothing is more narrow.  It's a straighter cut.  Many stores are moving away from Juniors and Misses altogether and changing their sizing.  Many stores now offer double zeros (00) and many have added extra extra small (XXS)  The best advice I can give anyone on the subject is stick to the tried and true.  Stores and brands that you like and fit your frame well.  I like Express and Bebe.  I never have to try anything on.  I just grab it and go. XOXO is good for me too.  I love J Crew dresses and find all their clothing to be very true to size so I can buy them right here on ebay:)  Once you find that perfect brand or store..........your set.   Trust your instincts.  You know what cut and style is the most flattering for you. :)  Good Luck Ladies and Have Fun Shopping! :)
