The Carlson Twins - A&Fs Carlson Twins
Abercrombie and Fitch's Carlson twins have made a splash globally as two leading male models. Kyle and Lane are Minnesota born and raised and grew up playing baseball, volleyball, football, and rugby. After Lane was scouted in a local mall, both brothers entered the business, eventually signing with one of the world's top names, Elite modeling agency.
The Carlson twins have modeled for Armani, L'uomo Vogue, One Tough Brand, Wilson's, and more. They have also done sexy covers and editorials for Details, Men's Journal, Out, and other top fashion, fitness, and lifestyle magazines. Among their impressive portfolio, however, by far the most famous pictures have been for Abercrombie and Fitch, who created an entire campaign around the Carlson twins.
It was the Spring 2001 A&F quarterly that first introduced Kyle and Lane to most of the American public. While people of all demographics were intrigued by the twins, their full-frontal nude pictures by Bruce Weber (who took the A&F pictures, as well) made them immediate icons of the gay community. They have garnered a great deal of praise and appreciation for being among the celebrities most appreciative of their gay fan base, though they themselves are straight.
Fans seeking memorabilia of A&F's Carlson twins can find posters of various sizes taken from the Abercrombie ads. There are also copies of the magazines with Carlson twins photos that have appreciated in value over time. Fans can also get screensavers, desktop images, and CDs filled with digital images of their favorite models.
