I'll keep this one short!

Say you're selling an item and your high bidder wants you to call him, or he calls you and wants you to call him right back.  Well there are some area codes that appear to be United States area codes but they are actually in the Carribean or Virgin Islands. One call to either of these numbers can set you back TWO THOUSAND BUX!  The pay per call numbers do not notify the caller of associated fees.

Some such area codes are 284, 809, and 876

Everyone should have in their posession a list of the US Area codes handy so they know where they are calling from / too.

Not only in the realms of eBay, but people should beware of web advertisements or automated calls telling you to call one of these numbers for collect some prize as well,
