I have been very disappointed in many of the movies I have rented recently, none of which I really wanted to waste my time or effort on writing a review on. Naming a few: Corky Ramono—idon’t ask. I wanted to laugh with a movie. I did everything BUT laugh.

Hearts in Atlantis-—I guess this one wasn’t so bad. Just kind of weird, but it’s a Stephen King-based movie… so I should have been more prepared.
,br> Zoolander-—oh my gosh, what was I thinking? I liked Meet the Parents, so I figured I’d enjoy this. But this was extremely lame. Again, I was just looking for a movie that would make me laugh, but I think I might have smiled at one or two parts.

Riding in Cars With Boys—I haven’t enjoyed a movie with Drew Barry Moor in it, since E.T.

There have been quite a few that have just been a waste of time and money. But at least I can scratch them off of my list of movies to rent.

The Bourne Identity, I thankfully don’t have to put in that category. I went in with low expectations. I hadn’t read any reviews, or heard anything about it yet. It was a very well thought-out movie. The action was great, yet not overdone, and the whole aspect of a man with amnesia, trying to figure out not only his past, but his present, and who he really is...that is always exciting.

Matt Damon is another actor that I am beginning to enjoy seeing on the big screen. Some of his older movies (the ones that haven’t been Rated ‘R’) have been pretty lame to say the least, or boring, and haven’t brought out the good actor within him. He is becoming a very good star, and hopefully will continue in the wise picking of his more recent movies.

I don’t really have too much to say about this movie other than, I enjoyed it. I walked out feeling that it was money well spent. The acting, action, directing, and plot were all pretty good. I have to admit that I walked out and had to double check the plot in my head and had to figure out what had happened throughout a couple spots. (It makes you figure it out as well as telling you what had happened).

Going deeper within the thought of the movie, it wasn’t much of a ‘feel-good’ movie, considering his occupation. I wouldn’t plan a temple trip within the same day.
