Please don't get caught up in the trap of buying everything Springfield just because you have a Springfield rifle. 

Their scopes and mounts are not the best to be had.  Imagine buying a Leupold or a Zeiss rifle.  Would you do it?  No.  Buy a mount from a mount company and a scope from a scope company.  Same with the rings.  The Badgers are one of the best out there but there are others as good.

Try the A.R.M.S.  # 18, Smith or a Sadlak  mount for your M1A - M14 rifle.  They cost a bit more but have been re-designed for use by the Army and Marines.
