Believe it or not, gold in gray refers to the segment of population that we may consider as the elderly or retired people (65 years and +). At a quick glance this might seam dull and boring, however if we take a closer look, this segment of the population, has an enormous potential, especially when it comes to selling products on ebay.

Sometimes we forget, and we use our judgemental stereotypes in relation to the elderly thinking that they are: not up-to-date when it comes to the newest technologies, or that they are uncool, not fashionable and poor. However, the reality   reveals the exact opposite; Elderly people rule!!, that is a fact.

Have you ever heard the word baby boomer, does it rings a bell? How about Bill Gates?. Now we are talking, the richest man in the world. Guess what, he is a baby boomer. The baby boomers will experience the highest population grown among all other age groups in the years to come, and this is true for the United States, Canada and many countries in Europe such as: Denmark and France.
Every year   thousand of companies target this segment of the population in order to satisfy their needs, and by doing so they generate enormous revenues.

Now that we are talking business, ebay has the perfect formula to sell a vast range of product s to this market. Think about the possibilities… Statistics reveal that more and more elderly people buy products and services from the Internet.
